What is included in the rental?
With each e-bike rental we provide a sanitized helmet, bike lock, and pannier bag. -
How far can the bike go on a single charge?
Our bikes have an average range of 100-120 kms per charge. -
What is the minimum age to rent an e-bike?
You must be at least 16 years old to rent an e-bike (14 years old when accompanied by a parent). -
What happens if the battery dies before I finish the ride?
If the battery dies the bike will simply work as a normal bike and you will still be able to get to your final destination. -
What is the max speed that the bike will asssist you?
Our bikes all have a max pedal assist speed of 32Km/h. -
What happens if my bike gets a flat tire or is damaged and I can't ride it anymore?
Please call 778-721-4365 and we will come fix your bike or swap it with a new one as soon as we can. -
What are the height restrictions on the bikes?
Our bikes can comfortably fit anyone ranging in height from 5’0- 6’7 -
Are the bikes and helmets cleaned and sanitized?
Yes, after every single use the bikes are cleaned and sprayed with sanitizer, and the helmets are washed and sanitized after each use. -
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the reservation or no refund will be given. Cancellations made between 72 hrs and 48 hrs of the reservation will receive a refund for 50%. All cancellations before that will cost a 10% cancellation fee, taken from the initial payment.

Our delivery service brings the joy of cruising right to your doorstep. Whether you’re in Penticton, Naramata, OK Falls, or Summerland, we’ll deliver our stylish bikes directly to you. -

Comox Street beside the Balcomo by Ramada (1050 Eckhardt Ave W, Comox Street entrance) 10AM-6PM -
What happens if I return my e-bike late?
Late returns are charged at 25$ per bike, per hour during business hours. If you expect to be late, or wish to add time to your rental please contact the Ekruise team as soon as possible at 778-721-4365 so we can confirm the bikes are not required for another booking.Any bikes returned after our 6:00pm closing time will incur a charge of 25$ per bike every 15 minutes until the bikes are returned. -
What if I want to stay out longer?
We get it! The e-bikes are fun. If you’d like to extend your rental, call or text us at 778-721-4365 as soon as possible. We will do our best to keep you riding as long as we can provided the bikes aren’t reserved for other customers. Approved extensions are 25$ per hour per bike.

Electric Bicycles
E-Kruise bikes have pedal power with electric motor assistance and electric power disengaging when the operator stops pedalling. -
Power
Our e-bikes have an electric motor of 500 watts or less and bicycle-style pedals for manual propulsion. -
Maximum Speed
The maximum speed an electric bicycle can go is up to 32 km/h on level ground without pedalling. -
Licensing and Insurance
Vehicle registration, licensing and insurance are not required (insurance may be available under a homeowner’s policy). -
Driver’s License
No driver’s license is necessary. However, you must be at least 16 years old to rent and ride an e-bike (14 years old when accompanied by a parent). -
Helmet Requirement
You must wear a bicycle helmet when operating an e-bike. E-Kruise offers complimentary helmets with every rental. -
Road Rules
When operating an electric bicycle, you are subject to the same rights and duties as the driver of a motor vehicle, such as obeying all traffic lights and control devices. As well, bicycle safety rules should be followed. Section 183 of the Motor Vehicle Act: Rights and Duties of Operator of Cycle.
